University Of Maryland Terrapins 2019-20 Schedule


Columnist Barry Srvluga of The Washington Post joins The Kevin Sheehan Show to discuss the impact coronavirus is having on sports.

Last night the NBA suspended its 2019-2020 season indefinitely off a Utah Jazz player, who reportedly is Rudy Gobert, testing positive for COVID-19 or the coronavirus.

Earlier in the day NCAA president Mark Emmert announced that the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments would be held without fans in attendance at games. Only essential staff and limited family would be allowed.

The Big Ten, Big East, ACC, Atlantic 10, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC, American Athletic Conference, Southland and Conference USA all announced that their basketball tournaments would proceed without fans in attendance beginning with games today, following the lead of the NCAA tournament in barring anybody but family and essential personnel.

So everything is happening very quickly in reaction to the spread of COVID-19 or the coronavirus and sports is trying to get out in front of it.
