NFL Columnist Mike Jones of USA Today joined The Kevin Sheehan Show from the site of Super Bowl LIV in Miami to give his predictions for the big game this Sunday, plus a few other NFL items.

It’s a classic football match up, a tough defense versus a unstoppable offense with one of the top quarterbacks in the league. So the question is can the 49ers defense hold Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs speedy offense?

“I don’t know, this kid is in ‘Jordan Mode’, just willing his team to victory,” Jones tells Kevin Sheehan.  “Even though this defense is really good, and I think there might be some hairy times. But I think he’s going to have just enough to elevate his team above the 49ers.”

Without much hesitation Mike Jones gave Kevin his pick for Super Bowl LIV, “I got the 49ers losing to the Chiefs, 32-27.”
