Doc and Galdi discuss how the Redskins may be misusing their talent…again. They look at Montez Sweat’s usage Sunday, due to the fact that he was a not much of a factor against the Eagles. However, when you see that he was forced to drop into coverage 12 times, which was as many times he dropped into coverage his ENTIRE senior year at Mississippi State, it begs to you inquire about the Redskins scheme and the fact that this scheme is not conducive to the guys they have on the team. Sometimes coaches have to adapt to the players they have and this is a prime example of not adapting to the player. Look at Preston Smith, who’s having a career year in Green Bay. We had him dropping into coverage, instead of having him rush the QB every down. We hope the Redskins allow Montez to play his game.
