Yesterday at the Redskins Welcome Home Luncheon, Bruce Allen told NBC 4 that he expects Trent Williams to play football again, and for the Redskins.

Then Texans insider Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle reported late on last night, that the Redskins are one of five teams that the Texans have spoken with regarding a potential trade of edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney. (Other teams: Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets.) But Wilson also had this in his report: “Washington is regarded as a no-go at this time and they are unwilling to trade Pro Bowl left tackle Trent Williams.” So Al Galdi gives his take on why the Redskins should definitely be interested in unloading Trent Williams for Jade Clowney…
