According to reports, Wrestling legend King Kong Bundy has passed away.
Bundy, whose real name is Christopher Alan Pallies debuted in the World Wrestling Federation in 1985 as a massive heel managed by Hall of Famer “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart. Bundy would pin his opponents and ask the referee to count to five, to show his dominance.
After being traded to fellow bad guy manager, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, Bundy would go on to squash lesser opponents until feuds with Andre The Giant and his most famous battle with Hulk Hogan in the main event of WrestleMania 2.
Bundy also guest-starred on the Fox TV series, “Married… With Children” and the Richard Pryor film “Moving.”
No word at this time on the wrestler’s cause of death. He was 61 years old.
