Bryce Harper is headed to Philadelphia.
Harper will sign a reported 13 years and $330 million with the Phillies. ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports that the deal will not include any opt-outs.
Overall, the deal tops Giancarlo Stanton’s 13-year, $325 million extension signed with the Florida Marlins in 2014.
With no opt-outs, Harper could remain a Phillie for the rest of his career. Harper spent his first 7 years with the Nationals, registering a .279 career batting average, with 184 home runs and 521 runs batted in.
