It looks like Dwight Howard is on the road back to the hardwood.

Howard was cleared to start on-court work Wednesday according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The All-Star center has spent his time in Atlanta rehabbing after spinal surgery. Since signing with the Wizards, Howard has only played nine games, averaging 12.8 points and 9.2 rebounds.

While Howard is clearly not the same center who was dominant during his time with the Orlando Magic, he can help the Bradley Beal and the Wiz who are currently 24-34 and three games behind the Detroit Pistons for the No. 8 seed.
